Finding New Ways To Relax With Green Tea

November 17th, 2009 | by |

There are times in your life that you need to relax more than others. One of these circumstances is when you’ve had a breakup. Relationships are hard enough, and suffering the pain of losing a love can be something that distracts you way too much. But when you think of a new hobby it can help keep your mind off those problems. Even getting you back to normal.

After all if you want to get ex back in your life, you will first need to be able to focus correctly. You can’t just head right back out there and try to beg and plead your way back. Instead take the time to learn something that will have you enjoying life.

That hobby that can help you relax and refocus on life is growing your own green tea. Something that is healthy for you and can easily be accomplished with an indoor garden. So you can’t say you don’t have enough room!

By growing your own tea you will be able to add in different tastes to the drink too. Placing in different herbs or dried fruits if you want. It will be your own creation, and it will take your mind off of that breakup too! Just head out and find a Camellia Sinesis plant and your well on your way to a new hobby.

When you head out to buy that plant see if you can get one that is either three years old or more. Because you won’t be able to harvest any of the leaves for tea until it is three years old. You should be able to find something in a nursery though, and don’t forget to get your pot and fertilizer while you’re there.

Sandy soil will be the best way to grow the tea plant, and you may need to add occasional fertilizer to the plant too. In order to make green tea you need to harvest the youngest leaves and buds off your plant.

After you have taken them off the plant you will need to dry them out in the sun. Then place them into an oven that has been set to 250 degrees, and leave them in there for ten minutes. After that you can seal up the majority and make your first pot of tea.

A new hobby, a way to relax and forget about the problems you may be facing. Plus some great tea that you will be able to drink, and even give some to your ex when you invite them over!
