Tickseed Coreopsis with Echinacea ?

May 2nd, 2008 | by |

Both of the plants are two of my favorite classic plants you can not go wrong with either of them. They both go well together and mix well in just about any type of perennial garden.

My personal favorite varitey of the tickseed is the Moonbeam Coreopsis. It spreads out nicely, although if you do not divide it every year or two it could reek havic with other nearby plants. It grows to medium height 13” to 18″ with a small light yellow bud it looks a like the Zagreb Coreopsis. Here is list of other great Tickseed Coreopsis:

Any one of these Coreopsis goes well with the Mangus Echinacea, Purple Coneflower.
