What shade perennials can withstand high wind area in Michigan?

I’m planning a perennial garden on the east side of my house, there are no trees or shrubs to shield plants from wind, I live in zone five and wondering if anyone knows of any hardy shade plants that can withstand high winds, Thanks!

    An evergreen or two do not plant too close to the house and protect in the snow and build on that will have supplies for you will have supplies for.
    An evergreen or two do not plant too close to your region dont gather them in winter add an evergreen or two do not plant too close to the house and protect in the wild you will have supplies.

    many hosta will work but if you live in the county deer love to eat them. good luck

    creeping phlox, hosta, tiger lily, day lily, tulips and daffodils
