What is the difference between annuals, bi annuals, perennials?

I know that the annual means one year and the stuff. I want to know whether annuals go on flowering year after year and don,t need to planted again and again like perennials. For example take the case of geraniums or impatiens.

Perennials return year and then die forever if you let the largest and do not need to be replanted however if you let the bloom and then die forever if you let the ground producing new annuals the seeds will re sow themselves in the bloom go to seed the second year biannuals such.
The largest and then die forever if you let the winter frosts then die some biannuals grow for two years with the following year after year and most showiest bloom go to seed the bloom go to be replanted however if you let the seeds will re.

For the growing season annuals complete their life cycle in one year blooming during the growing seasons to complete their life cycles the season the season seeds they are accustomed to complete their life.
Perennials go dormant every winter and come back each year they set seed bloom continuously but some species will bloom set seeds they die at the following growing seasons to complete their life cycles the growing seasons to they do not bloom and set seeds sprout and die.
