Just recently divorced, and wondering if there is hope for me somewhere… NOT looking to meet a guy online, but asking a general question of you men… would you consider dating someone like me (i.e. is there hope?)
Good – I’m attractive – long blonde hair (mid-back), blue, fair complexion, not skinny, but not plump.. LOL.. 30, told I have a smile that lights up the world and love to flash it often.. love life, look at bright side of life, absolutely content in the garden watching butterflies, listening to wind in the trees, hikes, camping, am Native American, though I don’t appear so, but love my culture – pow wow’s, gatherings, etc. Do believe in God and talk with him daily, but do not attend church often, great cook, elementary school teacher, provide for myself = have a home and a nice car, love my independence. Tend to be a bit wild in bed, open minded and enjoy making my guy out of his mind.
Not so good ? I have a serious history (not with guys- just life in general) – don’t necessarily need to share it, but you would definitely be surprised.. Have a tight family that I don’t see that often, but Mom comes to visit 1/mo. Some skeletons in family closet – an odd bunch, but the ones God gave me. I want my guy (when committed) at home, not out with the guys – don’t really drink (1/mo maybe). Don’t really like sports but not totally against them. Can’t say I’m super jealous, but don’t want any other women in your life unless related. : ) Every man I’ve dated (not that many) still talk to others about how much they miss me.

A fact: My daughter (3) is my world and that is primary to all else. Anyone in my life has to be understanding of that fact.
So, do you think there’s hope? LOL. .. Again, NOT looking to meet a man online, just a general question.
LOL.. oh, and I tend to be a little wordy…

Well You sound perfect for me!! So I am sure you will be perfect for someone else. Good luck I am in the middle of a divorce and I wonder the same sometimes!

im not a guy but w/e
i seem like one of my teachers but she teachs 7th and 8th grade and minus a few other parts i think but w/e she is awsome.
and yea i know u prob dont care but w/e, i just got 2 points lol
oh yea i hope u find a guy that makes u happy : )

as you wrote this, you must know you described a beautiiful dream. a balanced, passionate, self-aware woman who is committed to her family, her man and her world?
and i know you are not looking to pick up anyone–but you have almost described my ideal–if you were an artist–bingo. as a writer and professor, i can assure you that unless there is some shocking discrepancy in your profile–you would definitely be highly prized in some circles. oh, the answer is yes.

Whatever your problem is - unattractiveness it is not. If you were in this neighbourhood you’d have to beat the guys off with a stick. Your recent divorce might have dented your self-esteem but give it a little time, it will heal.

For me, this is not negotiable. I’m not going to cheat or anything like that, but I do have friends that are very important to me, and nothing (not even God) could make me give them up. Other than this, I would have no problem with the divorce or any of the other things.
